The Color That Somehow Gets Away With Everything
I remember Miley Cyrus once said:
“Pink isn’t just a color. It’s an attitude.”
And I think she’s right. Because every color enters a room differently.
Black wants your attention. Red expects your attention.
Green is busy talking about growth and fresh starts. Purple walks in with an air of mystery.
But pink? Pink shows up laughing at its own joke… and somehow becomes everyone’s favorite person in the room.
Pink’s just enjoying itself, not trying too hard to impress you. Yet, everyone’s impressed already.
Happy Pink Day (23rd June). The color equivalent of showing up with good vibes and zero drama. I hope you embody a little more of that spirit today.

The Curious Case of Birthday Candles
The older I get, the funnier birthday candles become.
I mean, think about it.
We spend our entire lives being told not to play with fire. Then once a year, people put fire on your birthday cake and encourage you to blow on it. Ironic.
Nobody really needs birthday candles. The cake would taste exactly the same without them.
But maybe that’s the point. The candles give us something rare: A moment to pause. To make a wish. To think about the year behind us and the year ahead. For a few seconds, everyone in the room is hoping for something.
That’s actually quite beautiful, when I think about it myself.
Happy Birthday to everyone celebrating today. Blow your candles well… though, don’t blow your back out trying too hard.
